Maia Alexandra is a multi- award winning Belly Dance performer and teacher,  newly relocated to Buffalo, New York. She has been a featured dancer and/or instructor many prestigeous festivals and events including the Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive, Saqra's Showcase,  MEDGE  and more.

A dynamic dancer with a flair for fun, Maia is best known for her on stage charisma and technical ability. Dancing from a very young age, she has been a member of several professional troupes and embraces styles as divergent as Jazz, Modern, Ballet, and even Hula Hoop as well as her love of Bellydance. Maia is a natural stage performer, and her enchanting style is beloved by audiences everywhere she entertains.

Maia is the pioneer of an exciting new style in the Belly Dance field that she calls " Modern Vintage". This blending of  West Coast dynamics and solid technique is her specialty.   Bringing back the Old School American Cabaret feel with a fresh new perspective, Maia bridges the gap with a sense of humor and saavy moves!
